Finding Opportunity In Failure

Many people fail throughout life not because of actual failure itself, but because of giving up and quitting short of success. The term failure can also be used as mistake and as humans we are prone to making many mistakes throughout our lives especially when it comes to a difficult endeavor. If we train our minds to see mistakes as learning opportunities rather than failure, we then can go on to succeed rather than quit.

“The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord, and He delights in his way. Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down; for the Lord upholds him with His hand.” (Psalms 37:23-24 NKJV).

Several great successful individuals found opportunity in the so called failure blunders. They chose to look further into why they did not succeed and then move forward continuing on trying to accomplish whatever it was they were aiming for. Sometimes God puts great opportunities within the failure/mistake itself and it is up to us to see through the bad physical view and tune our spiritual eyes to see the work of the Spirit in our lives and through our struggles.

The good Lord wants us all to succeed in life and ultimately bring Him glory through our success. This life is full of ups and downs and its our job to get back up when the downs come our way. Our minds are the most powerful tool we have when it comes to finding success through failures. Looking at everything in a hopeful and positive manner is not only the key to success itself, but also the way in which the Lord wants us to view life’s both goods and not so goods.

“Watch, stand fast in the faith, be brave, be strong. Let all that you do be done with love.” (1 Corinthians 16:13-14).

I’m not sure where you sit at today, but if you keep running into failures while pursuing the same endeavor it sometimes can mean you’re getting closer to achieving what you are seeking. The main factor is to pray and make sure what you are seeking is what God wants you to seek and if it is what He has set on your heart, then do not lose heart, but rather keep pursuing in faith and hope while praising God for the victory.
