When God Sends You, Do Not Fear

As we walk with the Lord through this life and He calls us to a certain area of ministry, it is then that we prepare ourselves. Most people become confused with the term called, but what is means is a type of mission and purpose the Lord has set before us. This mission and purpose is to be pursued with our full hearts in faith, but only after we have been sent.

““For many are called, but few are chosen.””

‭‭Matthew‬ ‭22:14‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

We must first be called before we are sent. A calling is the feeling within our soul, the voice of the Holy Spirit being pressed upon our hearts and minds, guiding us to the area of work He has set for us. When we are ready and matured in Christ, we are then sent to where we need to be through the opening of doors.

“He sent them to preach the kingdom of God and to heal the sick.”

‭‭Luke‬ ‭9:2‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

When we are called and then the doors of opportunity open and we are sent out, it is then our duty to obey and move forward in faith. One of the key things to being sent is the fact that we can not allow our emotions to control us, we can not allow fear and anxiety hold us back. But rather we have to allow the Spirit to take full control and enable and empower us to following the calling and path that the good Lord has set before us.

“Teach me Your way, O LORD, And lead me in a smooth path, because of my enemies.”

‭‭Psalms‬ ‭27:11‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Where has God called you to? Have you been sent? Have the doors of opportunity opened for you today? Move forward while leaning completely on the One who provides.
