It is easy to want to get through certain seasons of life, especially when they are seasons we do not want to be in, but God puts us in certain seasons to embrace and learn from. We may not understand the reason for the season, but we can be rest assured that there is a purpose from God that is ulimately going to bring Him glory if utilized correctly.
I have personally been through many different seasons with several I did not wish to be in, and with the wrong attitude I ended the seasons quicker than what should have been leaving little to no room to grow or bring glory to God. The same applies to you at the moment. Regardless of what season you may be in at this time ask God why you are there and what His mission is for you through this particular season.
Many times He is wanting to transform us through certain seasons and “prune” us, spiritually speaking, from certain things or people that are holding us back from moving forward within the will of God for our life. The only way to better understand these things is through prayer and meditation upon His word as well as some advice and insight from other surrounding Christians.
“But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.”
II Corinthians 3:18 NKJV
Seasons have the tendency, not only to transform, but to also produce fruit within our life as well as others. What season are you currently going through? Is it an easy, relaxing season or a season of what looks like complete turmoil? Pray and ask the Lord to reveal to you what it is He is trying to accomplish through this particular season, and then continue on steadfast in the faith while walking in the Spirit ready to be transformed and produce fruit.
