There are times of stumbling that cause us to wake up to the realities of the life we are living at the time. And these times of stumbling are times of reflection and prayer. When we find ourselves stumbling over the same block so many times, we then need to stop and find another route around and away from this block of stumbling.
“Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.”
Hebrews 12:1-2 NKJV
After so many times of falling we should begin to feel exhausted from hitting the ground and standing back up again. Overtime some wisdom should seep its way in and begin to convince to go another way. It is then up to us to heed to this wisdom and go around the block, leaving it far behind forever.
What “block” is tripping you up today? Is there another way that leads you away from it forever? Pray and ask for wisdom and allow God to reveal to you a way that leads you far from the stumbling block and that helps you mature in your faith, growing ever closer to Him.
