There are times when the bleakest moments make a great impact, the one voice that influences the crowd. Just like a small stone making many ripples that echo outward for several yards, so is our voice in brief moments of time. It is not the size of the stone that determines the impact of the ripples it creates, but rather the force that is behind it.
Also, our voice and influence is not merely determined by how loud or flamboyant we try to be, but rather the Spirit of God moving in and through us that makes the impact towards the greater good, towards the upward call of God. Jesus was meek and humble, but had the impact of a great earthquake and this same character is to be represented within and through each of us.
